Lisa Grant earned her Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAOM) from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2011. As a student intern, Lisa spent time treating patients at the Courage Center, an AIDS clinic, a homeless shelter and a school-based clinic. Since graduating, she has worked in several very busy clinics and established the country’s most generous free clinic for veterans. Seven years ago, she established and continues to organize the annual project for bringing acupuncture to homeless veterans at the Minnesota StandDown in August.
Prior to acupuncture school, Lisa earned a Masters of Education (M.Ed.) and taught English as A Second Language for over 10 years.
Lisa particularly likes treating pain conditions, women’s health and emotional/psychological conditions but has experience treating a variety of other conditions as well.
